Parque Arqueologico de Pisac

Perched on a airy ridge above the village of Pisac, these ruins are strategically located where an Inca route from Paucartambo entered the Sacred Valley.

A trail follows along the ridge, passing several archeological sites andthen descending to the market at Pisac. There are fantastic views of the Vilcanota River, the Sacred Valley, and surrounding mountains.
