Peru Flight Information
Running Trips

Domestic airline tickets in Peru ARE NOT included in the land cost of our trips.

Please DO NOT buy ANY airline tickets before consulting with our staff, so you do not make a mistake.

Search flights and send to us the flights that you are considering BEFORE you buy. We will assist you selecting your flights. You will also need flights Lima to Cusco R/T and we will tell you which flights to select based on your international flights.

The 1st night of the program is the night in Cusco as listed on the itinerary. Depending on your flights you may need a hotel in Lima on your arrival. Those arriving to Lima early in the morning can connect directly to Cusco. If you can, we recommend arriving in the morning in Lima and connecting to Cusco to save on extra expenses in Lima.

The last day of the program is in Lima and we include a day use room. Most participants use the last day in Lima as a day use hotel only, and depart in the evening. This room can be upgraded to overnight for a small additional cost. We include the transfer to the airport out the following day if you stay overnight in Lima.

We recommend that you arrive in Cusco the day before the program begins to allow for acclimatization and rest from the trip, but in any case you need to arrive in Cusco no later than 11 AM on day one of the program.

We can reserve additional rooms that you may need in Lima or Cusco.

Tickets Lima to Cusco are offered by LATAM Airlines (recommended) & Avianca. Star Peru and Peruvian Airlines are not recommended. Consult with us BEFORE you buy.

Make sure to let us know BEFORE issuing any airline tickets, so that we can help you coordinate the correct flights and best options for your trip.

The last day we have a full program planned for Lima (City tour, lunch, day use hotel and transfer out). You need to fly from Cusco to Lima on LATAM flight 2008 departing Cusco at 9:30 AM and arriving in Lima at 10:55 AM. If you fly to Cusco to Lima on another airline, you need to arrive in Lima before LATAM flight 2008 to connect with the scheduled program in Lima.

Please consult us before buying any airline tickets, as flights can change in 2022.

For your international departure from Lima select a flight late at night, so you do not miss our program in Lima. We include a city tour of Lima, a great lunch and a day-use room. You can upgrade your room in Lima to overnight for a small amount and depart home on the next day.

Optional Extensions are available in Peru and additional nights can be arranged to accommodate your itinerary. Please plan in advance, so that your flights can be coordinated including any extensions.

If you have the time and interest, we recommend the extension to Lake Titicaca before the trip. It is a nice extension, very well priced and ideal for acclimatization. When you sign up we will send you additional details and information and will let you know who to contact for airline tickets.

Please contact us if you need to clarify any details.

Sincerely,

Andes Adventures
